CAVEX   WORM GEAR UNITS
All gearmotors are assembled from a series of standard design components to produce a wide variety of gearmotor configurations to suit your application.  Carburized and ground helical and bevel gearing mounted in rugged cast iron housings provide smooth, low noise performance. Gear units and worm-helical speed reducers feature a unique worm gear tooth form  that delivers up to 50% more torque than conventional worm gearing.  High strength cast iron housings and effective fan cooling produce a reliable, high capacity worm gear unit.

Capacities:
  • 4 basic configurations
    In-line helical gearmotor
    Right angle helical-worm gearmotor
    Shaft mount/torque arm type parallel shaft helical
    Right angle helical-bevel gearmotor
  • 10 sizes in each configuration
  • Ratios from 1.5:1 to 20,000:1
  • Power range:  Input Hp from 0.25 to 215 HP;
    output torque from 100 to 130,000 in-lbs.
  • Solid or hollow output shafts.

  • Power range: Input Hp from 0.5 to 440 Hp; output torque to 600,000 in. lbs.
